Originally developed in 1990 by Ocean France for the Amiga and Atari ST, Ivanhoe is an action game with a cartoonish design that is as captivating when static as it is disappointing in motion. This would certainly be a fairly interesting idea for a conversion, but in any case with notable improvements on the animation front and with the addition of parallax in the stages where it is not present.

The W.I.P. porting is defined as a "remake", but at the moment it would present itself in all respects as a direct transposition. Among other things, at the current stage of development the chip music seems to be a model of that of the Atari ST version, presumably due to the similarity between the Yamaha YM2149F and the secondary chip of the 16-bit Sega (PSG "inherited" for backwards compatibility from the Master System - Texas Instruments SN76489).
