Sonic The Hedgehog 4

Sonic The Hedgehog 4 (Genesis) is a Rom Hack of Sonic 1 created by TheRetroGuy.

Since there isn't exactly any info on this, I'll share my take on it. So in this Rom Hack, Sonic's sprites are Sonic 3 style, Dr. Robotnik's sprites changed as well, they instantly remind me of S1: Harder Levels sprites. The first act of Green Hill seems to have a somewhat layout change, aside from that, 2nd & 3rd act of Green Hill & Marble show change in palette. Soundtracks are what make it standout, even during the boss battles (after 4 hits, the pinch mode track starts), plus I like the fact that the Title Screen looks pretty clean, while having its options much similar to Sonic 4 itself. 

Water physics seem odd, talking mostly towards Labyrinth, while a glitch worth noting, Sonic randomly disappearing during Act 3. Also I really don't know what happened during the beginning of Star Light Act 3, but randomly thought I could make it back up the hill lol.
